How To Create A Passive Income Stream Online (AKA I Want To Be John Chow)

how to make money online

[twitter]I’ve been writing online since 1996. For nearly 20 years I have been churning out content. That entire time I made extra money that paid for vacations and gave our family budget some breathing room, but it was never big money.

Back in the day, I wrote a column for 24Hrs. One of the first people I profiled was John Chow.

When I lost my job in the summer of 2009, one of the first people I called was John Chow.

John makes big money doing internet marketing. He has all sorts of affiliate programs selling advice and ideas and web hosting and blog content. He has his own ad networks. He’s got his fingers in a lot of pies and manages to pull in a lot of money.

As it stands now, I do a lot of writing for the web that pays me well-ish. But it’s work. A lot of work. Because of the energy it takes me to write for Babble, cyberbuzz, DadCAMP, and The Blog According to Buzz, I stopped doing my segments for Global Calgary’s Sunday Morning News, and Future Shop. I just get too burnt out writing 2-4 hours a day on top of that ‘real job’ on the radio.

So I am going to try this passive income stream thing. I have signed up for My Top Tier Business, a 21 day program that will walk me through all the steps needed to start making money online. Real money that I don’t have to work so hard writing.

Will it work? Is it a lot of work? How much money can you make? Is it all a scam? I’m about to find out ..

It’s a “scam”. I was looking for a free ride, this system is all about buying traffic and getting people in your funnel. I have more fun just blogging 😉
